At the heart of everything we do is the knowledge that what people really care about is quality of life and well-being. Our health, community and staff programs have been designed to ensure that Jawny Bakers enhances the lives of everyone with whom we serve and work. To ensure that this is sustained, we feel it is our responsibility to contribute to improving quality of life through environmental leadership.

The following are just a few of the initiatives we have undertaken to ensure that we lessen the impact we have on the environment and, hopefully, lead by example:

• We require all staff members to follow sensible conservation guidelines and educate them on our involvement in peak savers programs for utility consumption.
• All packaging for take away containers and bags is biodegradable.
• We use biodegradable garbage bags intended for all landfill refuse.
• All plastic, metal and paper products are recycled.
• We use energy efficient lighting and light fixtures for both interior and exterior usage.
